Don't think I can go on much longer

Not sure if I can keep feling like this. A year ago I realized my mothers addiction has resulted in me losing my home which she had bought for me. No apology nothing. I knew this would eventually happen and cant believe i went ahead and did it. i rented a horrible apt where i havent stayed yet because I don't feel safe and I found a bedbug. I threw away all the clothes i had there.I need medication but couldn't find anyone who would take my insurance. Now I've lost that insurance because I've been so depressed I haven't filled out the required paperwork. Until yesterday I was working but I ca

I'm doing a project in school and i have mentally ill relatives; once you get to researching it seems almost nothing is being done to help improve the quality of life of the ill. How do you think an "average Joe" could make a difference?
