Rebooting psychotherapy (PhysOrg.com)

Psychotherapy has come a long way since the days of Freudian psychoanalysis – today, rigorous scientific studies are providing evidence for the kinds of psychotherapies that effectively treat various psychiatric disorders. In middle school, my mother yelled at me a lot for my grades, and at school, kids made fun of me, and I could only make a few friends at the most. This would make me very depressed, and I thought about suicide a lot, and prayed for my depression to end a lot. After I've gotten medicine, my grades have improved, so my mom doesn't yell at me, and I the other kids don't make fun
