Police applicant. Psychological testing.

I am actively trying to pursue a career in law enforcement. I failed the MMPI 2 test about a year ago with a local pd. I am testing for a different department now and I am scheduled to take the same test again in a couple weeks. Will the fact that I failed the first time have any affect on me being hired with this new department? Am I now on record as being crazy? Can I still get hired with a different department?
